We maintain control over hazards in the manufacturing process by using a well functioning HACCP system and by empowering skilled employees.

We prevent and protect our consumers from being injured by foreign items and/or substances in our products.

 

HYGIENE & GMP TRAINING AND AWARENESS
We offer safe products by using hygienic processes and facilities, and by following clear routines for personal hygiene.

 

COLOR CODED TOOLS
We have set a Total Color Coded cleaning equipment system that greatly assists the Quality Assurance and Food Safety requirements for interdepartmental or food type segregation who are implementing HACCP systems, and significantly reducing the risk of cross contamination.

 

PRODUCTION FACILITIES
We meet or exceed relevant standards when maintaining and cleaning buildings and equipment to ensure food safety throughout the supply chain.

 

PEST CONTROL
We keep our premises free from pests by means of a proactive programme.

 

TRACEABILITY
We have systems for tracing raw materials, ingredients and end products.

 

PRODUCT RECALL
If we detect a problem with our products we protect consumers by recalling products that are judged to be hazardous to health.

 

ALLERGENS
To enable consumers to make an active choice we declare the ingredients of all of our products. We maintain up-to-date knowledge of allergens and have robust purchasing and production procedures that prevent contamination.

All Bakemate territories commit to continuous improvement, which is measured, evaluated and validated for effectiveness internally and externally.

The Factory believes that the responsibility for achieving quality commitments lies with each Bakemate employee in the execution of their jobs. Food safety is the responsibility of all employees that have direct influence on ingredients, packaging, manufacturing, storage and the transport of products. Bakemate ensures that the primary materials and products meet the standards of national and international organizations concerned with product safety and quality; i.e., (SASO) Saudi Arabian Standards Organization, (ISO 22000 FSMS) International Organization for Standardization and FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission.

As General Manager, I am committed to the Quality and Food Safety Policy which is owned and endorsed by the President of Bakemate. Responsibility for the successful implementation of this programme belongs to every Bakemate employee at each level and function in the organization.
